What is Yoga Teacher Training?
Yoga Teacher Training is so much more than a qualification, and chosing the right course is hard.
What should you consider, how do you choose the best course for you and how to you know your trainer is a good one?
Consider location; the biggest question is probaly east vs west. I trained in India - I was lucky enough to spend two years there in my 20's and I will be forever grateful for this experience. However, I eventually begin to struggle with the concept that I should take everything at face value, i needed a safe space to ask questions and I needed to be able to make mistakes without repercussions.
In Chamonix, we have a very comfortable luxury chalet, we have a fully equipped, warm studio, we have views, comfy beds, en suite bedrooms.
And beyond this, we have time to question and explore every day, space to practice, make mistakes and learn together.
The environment is one of safety and warmth, everyone is welcome.
Meet your teacher; one of the hardest things is to know - will I like my teacher? I speak to every student before they sign up, you won't find an auto book button on this site. You can speak to me on a voice or video call, or via whatsapp and we have regular, weekly classes for you to hop on and join - classes can always be sent out as replays on request. The new hybrid format allows you to meet your group and me before you arrive and this year - the new Intro to TT course allows you to dip a toe before you commit

7.45 - 9.45 am: Meditation, Pranayama and asana Practice, Mariza Yoga vinyasa
9.45 --10.20 : Morning break
10.20 - 11.15: Asana lab
11.20 - 12.15 Philosphy/anatomy/teaching methods/practice
12.20 - 13h: Adjustments workshop
13h - 14.15h: Lunch Break
14.15 - 14.45: Class planning/Study Circle
14.45 - 16.00 Teaching practice + feedback
